Some days I'm told
how to act right
But I always seem to contemplate the situation
I used to know
where I was going
But now I"m lost in this abyss of worry
Only one thing here to cheer me up is when

The bird soars through the air
She compresses all my fears
She caresses me with care
She holds back all of my tears
Since no one is around
I can whisper her a sound
She'll come down to say hello
from her nest in the willow

She's the star of the show

She shines

I've been known to frown
I've been known to smile
But lately I can only do the former
Who can I trust?
Who can I follow?
When my mind becomes a scrambled egg
